 A Houthi leader stormed the house of a citizen in the city of Ibb, along with dozens of armed militia members, amid daily violations by the militia against citizens in various directorates.

Local sources said that members of the Houthi militia, accompanied by a leader, stormed the house of a citizen in the Al-Dhahar district in the city of Ibb, and uttered him with profanity and regionalism, in a scene that confirms the militia's regional treatment of the people of Ibb Governorate, as if they were citizens of the tenth degree.


The sources added that the Houthi leader "Bandar al-Asal" and appointed by the Houthi militia as director of the Ibb Endowments, stormed the house of the citizen "Saeed al-Daas", while the militia's gunmen sacked the door of the house's yard, located in the solidity of Mrs. Arwa in the Al-Dhahar district.

The sources reported that the militia threatened to kill the citizen in front of his children and wife, in a scene frequently practiced by the militia in the various districts of the governorate.

According to the sources, the Houthi leader uttered words that were described as inappropriate, to the citizen "Al-Daas" and addressed him by saying, "I am from Imran, while you’re just from Ibb", in a clear message to all the people of the province, as it shows how to deal with them by the leaders of the Houthi militia coming from the northern governorates of the north which took over jobs, management of government offices, and decision-making within the governorate, at the expense of the people of the governorate, who were deliberately marginalized.

Eyewitnesses reported that the militia dealt with a severe insult to the citizen "Al-Daas" and kidnapped him and transferred him to the endowment prison of the Houthi leader "Bandar Al-Asal" amid widespread resentment among the citizens.

The sources confirmed that the Houthi leader aims, by storming the house and threatening the citizen, to force him to open a road from inside the yard of the house by force to reach the floor of a merchant, who paid sums of money to the Houthi leader in exchange for the road to his floor.

The people of Mrs. Arwa's solidity issued a statement condemning the storming of the house and the threat of the Houthi leader and his gunmen threatening the Da'as citizen, and demanded that the perpetrators be held accountable and an end to the Houthi violations in the governorate's directorates
