Aden, NewsYemen:

A Yemeni academic revealed that the regime of the interim president, Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, embezzled large sums of money from the Saudi support allocated to treating the war-wounded in Yemen.

Dr. Abdulqader Al-Kharraz said that he was able to track astronomical figures for the money seized by the legitimate ones, from the support provided to care for the war-wounded from the employees of the forces affiliated with the legitimacy.

According to Al-Kharraz, the legitimacy seized $6 million, equivalent to 55 billion Yemeni riyals, from 2016 to 2020, through 46 projects that were funded.

He added that Saudi Arabia provides the legitimate Yemeni government the equivalent of $4 million annually to finance the treatment of the wounded.

Al-Kharraz published, on his Facebook account, pictures of detailed statements for each project to treat the wounded, some of which are specific to the governorate and the hospital, as well as the number of wounded and the amounts allocated to them, and often the average amount is from 500 to 600 thousand dollars per 100 or 150 wounded.
