Security Council extends the mandate of the UN mission in Hodeidah

 The United Nations Security Council extended the mandate of the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA) for an additional year.

The Council unanimously adopted a decision to extend the mandate of the United Nations mission until mid-July next year 2022, during a special session held on Wednesday.

And the members of the 15-nation Security Council voted unanimously in favor of the extension resolution presented by the British representative to the council.

During the session, the Security Council called on all parties concerned with the crisis to implement their obligations under the Stockholm Agreement.
