The active fishing movement, in the Al-Amoudi coast in Mocha, attracted a number of small shop owners to work on the beach to meet the fishermen's needs for juices, water, and meals.

Haitham al-Deeb started establishing a small restaurant near the beach, hoping to expand it soon to provide meals to fishermen who came from Hodeidah, Lahj, Abyan, Aden, Hadhramaut and Mukalla to fish in the Mocha coasts this season.

Al-Deeb told Newsemen that the distance of the coast from the city was a problem for fishermen looking for a restaurant to eat their meals near their work on the beach.

He adds, that this is what prompted him to open the "Nakhlatain Restaurant" in the hope that the financial gains would allow him to carry out expansion work.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as packaged juices and cold drinking water.

Near the landing center, some started selling snacks, allowing fishermen who were struggling with the lack of these services to get them.

One of the fishermen expressed his satisfaction with the availability of services on the beach, and said that the previous days, the need for a bottle of water cost to go to a grocery store far away to get it.

He added that various diets are now available, and this is a positive thing in having them here.

The fish landing center in the Al-Amoudi coast has been witnessing an active movement for days, due to the arrival of a number of fishermen from Hodeidah and the southern governorates for fishing due to the availability of fish in this season.
