Local sources confirmed that the Houthi militia threatened thousands of residents in Sana'a who did not interact with the campaign by depriving them for months of obtaining the cooking gas allocated to them, selling it on the black market, and supplying the sums for the Houthi convoy.
It pointed out that the group, in return, imposed heavy fines on citizens who cut empty parcels or neglect them, as one of the methods of extortion practiced by militias against citizens in their areas of control.
