Mawza, NewsYemen, Private:

A tillage driver was seriously injured, on Sunday, in an explosion of a mine left behind by the Houthi militia in Mawza district.

Abdul-Ghani Muhammad, one of the sheikhs of the region, told NewsYemen that a mine left by the Houthi militia exploded when the plow driver, Omar Al-Hadrami, leveled agricultural land for a citizen in the village of Jubail in the village of Al-Hamli in the Mawza district.

He added that the explosion seriously wounded Al-Hadrami, who was taken to the MSF surgical hospital in Mocha.

He stressed that the demining teams had previously cleared the village of Houthi death tools, but it once again needs a new survey process to ensure that it is completely free of mines.

The Houthi militia, Mawza district, planted thousands of mines, and dozens of innocent people were victims of Houthi terrorism.
