Aden, NewsYemen:

The leader of the Islah Party, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, accused the former Minister of Fisheries, Fahd Kavin, on Friday, the Saudi forces present in Al-Mahra Governorate (southeast of Yemen) of assaulting him.

Kavin said, in a tweet on his Twitter account, "The attack that we were subjected to today (Thursday), at the Yemeni Sarfit port by Saudi elements stationed at the port's gate is unacceptable and reprehensible."

The Brotherhood leader added: "Employment and respect between us and our allies is what is required, and anything else is unacceptable," adding: "We will not accept tutelage methods and the language of arrogance from any party, and everyone should realize that."  According to him.

The allegations of the Brotherhood leader came at a time when the Brotherhood is adopting a continuous escalation against the presence of Saudi forces in Al-Mahra Governorate, which it describes as “occupying forces.”

Saudi forces are stationed in Mahra, as part of the Arab coalition’s efforts to protect ports and combat smuggling operations, as most of the smuggled arms and drugs coming through it, from Oman and the Horn of Africa, go to the Houthi militia.
