On Monday, June 5, 2021, the Giants Brigades of the West Coast announced their participation, alongside the fighters of the Hamiqan tribes, in the process of expelling the Houthi militia and liberating the Al-Zahir district in Al-Bayda Governorate.

And she said, in a brief statement on her official website: Today, the heroes of the Giants Brigades wrote heroic epics in the fight against the Houthi militia and the purification of the Al-Zaher district, after they inflicted heavy losses on the Houthi militia in equipment and equipment.

The statement noted that the heroes of the Giants Brigades were stationed with the tribes and the resistance of the Hamiqan family on the fronts of the Al-Zahir District for nearly two years.

 The resistance of the Humiqan family and the forces of the Giants launched, at dawn on Sunday, a military operation to liberate the Al-Zahir district, and the confrontations that lasted for hours resulted in the liberation of the Al Obaid sites, the Kidan sites, the Al-Ariel site and the area near it completely, and the road leading to Nassifah and Al-Habej was opened, while preparations are underway to storm the center of the encircled district completely.
