At dawn on Monday, field sources revealed the latest developments in the field situation in Al-Zahir district, speaking about the failure of all attempts by the Houthi militia to regain the positions it lost during the battles of the past hours.
The sources confirmed the liberation of the popular resistance, with the support of the Giants’ forces, at the strategic location of Dahwa, leaving only one site called (Jamajim) to liberate all areas of the Hamiqan family, while the resistance applies the siege on the Houthi militia in the center of the Zaher district, and preparations are underway for a large-scale attack in an effort to liberate it.
According to the sources, the homes of citizens in the village of Gul al-Saqal, Jurdi, al-Quaa, al-Uraiba and al-Ghoul with all kinds of heavy weapons were subjected to hysterical bombardment by Houthi militias stationed and besieged in Jabal al-Darwa, which is in the crossfire.
She added that the resistance thwarted an attempt to circumvent the Houthi militias on Sunday evening in an attempt to restore the Kidan sites, confirming that the attack had been broken, and the militias had been killed and wounded, and the remaining militia groups had fled.
In addition, the sources said that the Giants units thwarted an air attack that the Houthi militia tried to carry out with drones. She explained that the air defenses managed to shoot down the booby-trapped plane before it targeted a resistance site in the Qorba area.
The resistance of the Hamiqan family and the forces of the Giants launched a military operation at dawn on Sunday to liberate the Al-Zahir district, which resulted in the liberation of the Al-Ubaid sites, the Kidan sites, the Al-Ariel site and the area near it in full, and the road leading to Al-Nasifah and Al-Habej was opened.
