Aden, NewsYemen:

The American researcher and security expert, Irina Zuckerman, said in a symposium held at the Geneva Conference Center, that there are many women being held without charge in the secret prisons of the Houthi group.

Irina emphasized, in a statement, that the Houthi ideology is not new, as it is rooted in ancient practices and some extremist tribal traditions, but is fueled by the Khomeinist model, which employs women as part of an increasingly systematic oppression of other women.

She noted that al-Houthi has become more like ISIS in tarnishing their reputation and erasing women's identities and their ability to participate in open space, not to mention defending themselves against abuses.

She indicated that there are tens if not hundreds of women being held without charge in the secret Houthi prisons, subjected to torture and brutal humiliation, and some are kidnapped after refusing to become informants or join the Zainabiyat, similar to the Iranian groups.

It is worth noting that the latest moral, legal and humanitarian scandals and condemnations of the Iranian-backed militias are related to the case of Intisar al-Hammadi and the Houthis' attempts to use it within a trend that falls within the file of Houthi prostitution, which smelled in every direction.
