The STC is waving escalating steps against the arrogance of the Brotherhood in Hadhramaut and Shabwa

 The local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, in Hadhramaut, warned, on Tuesday, of the continued arrests and violations by Brotherhood militias against the people of Hadhramaut and Shabwa governorates, the latest of which was the arrest of three council leaders on their way to Mukalla from the capital, Aden.

It said in a statement, that what she described as "terrorist groups backed by lurking political forces are still practicing bullying and enmity by cutting off the road through Shabwa to Hadramawt."

It pointed out that the Brotherhood militia kidnapped, last Saturday, Hassan bin Hassan Al-Tafi, the leader of the Southern Resistance, and his companion, Hussein Ali bin Hamza, and on Monday, they intercepted Ali Salem Saeed Al-Tanari Al-Maari, a member of the National Assembly of the Council, and took him and one of his companions to an unknown destination, in addition to the arrest of Dr. Muhammad  Jaafar bin Sheikh Abu Bakr transitional head of Hadhramaut.

The statement hinted at upcoming escalatory steps that the Transitional Council in Hadhramaut will take, against this Brotherhood arrogance, and to rid Shabwa and Wadi Hadramawt from the “Brotherhood” crime, calling at the same time all the people of Hadhramaut to participate in the escalating steps that will be announced at a later time.

The statement said that the method of arrest and kidnapping on the public road represents a dangerous precedent, and a form of unprecedented terrorism, and it should be confronted with a unified position and parallel measures that put an end to anyone who wants Hadramout and its citizens worse.
