Al-Sharabi: The Brotherhood carried out an armed coup in Taiz to protect its leaders from dismissal

Yemeni journalist Muhammad Saeed Al-Sharabi said that the Muslim Brotherhood carried out an armed coup in Taiz Governorate by closing government institutions to protect its leaders from dismissal.

Al-Sharabi said, in a tweet to him on Twitter, that the terrorist organization of the Muslim Brotherhood is carrying out an armed coup, this morning, Sunday, in the city of Taiz, by closing all state institutions in order to protect its military and security leaders from dismissal.

He asked: "Where are the defenders of legitimacy from other coups?"

He continued in another tweet: "We are all against the mafia of corruption, gangs of murder and robbery, but this does not justify silence about a military coup carried out by a terrorist organization that is cloaked in uniform against civil institutions."

Al-Sharabi concluded his tweet by saying: "Yes to overthrowing corruption, no to armed coups."
