Informed sources revealed the practices of Brotherhood members trying to divert the path of youth demands against corruption in Taiz Governorate.
The sources stated that Brotherhood elements stormed the demonstrations and raised slogans against the Arab alliance to divert the path of youth demands that are focused against corruption and the corrupt in light of the Brotherhood's Islah Party controlling power in Taiz.
This work comes in conjunction with the presence of the Qatari Al-Jazeera channel, which broadcasts "direct" to the demonstrations.
This happened a day after women affiliated with the Brotherhood's Islah Party attacked anti-corruption demonstrators in Taiz. The participants in the uprising against the Brotherhood were beaten by female demonstrators affiliated with the Islah party in Taiz governorate.
Female demonstrators, participating in a popular march in the city of Taiz, complained of being beaten by other female demonstrators, claiming that they belong to the Islah party.
The demonstrator, Arwa Al-Shamiri, said that she and another demonstrator, Sabah Farhan, were beaten by female demonstrators belonging to the Islah Party.
According to a report by Al-Shamiri, which she addressed to whom it may concern, she was beaten, after she raised slogans criticizing the protests that took place in February.
Al-Shamiri said that the Islah protesters cut down the board with slogans criticizing the February protests.
In her statement, she said, "We went out against the February Nakba, which brought us all these corrupt people, and I was assaulted by a member of the Islah party, which deals with thuggery and does not respect freedom of opinion. She cut up the board and incited her followers against me in a barbaric manner.”
And she continued, "Sister Sabah Farhan was also attacked by the thugs of the Islah party who infiltrated the demonstration and who tried to divert the course of the demonstration with their barbaric behavior."
She asked, "When will the Islah party learn freedom of opinion and peaceful demonstration?! It is my right to raise any banner expressing my opinion, and you do not have the right to prevent me, reformists."
