Lenderking: Iran continues to play a negative role in Yemen

 On Wednesday, the US special envoy to Yemen, Tim Lenderking, stressed that the negative Iranian role does not appear to be witnessing any decline or positive development.

During his meeting with Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh, the US envoy referred to the efforts being made to bring peace and his country's support to the UN role aimed at achieving security and stability in Yemen.

In turn, Mohsen confirmed the Houthis' bad exploitation of the failure to implement the Stockholm Agreement and pushed them to mobilize and monopolize other regions, including the city of Marib, which has been facing fierce attacks for a year and six months.
