Today the Major General Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, met with a group of dignitaries and dignitaries of Al-Subaihi governorate in Lahj governorate in its four districts, at the council's headquarters in the capital, Aden.

Al-Zubaidi praised the heroic role of the people of Sabiha and their struggle legacy in the various historical turns that the south went through since the first independence on November 30, 1967, until today.

He said: "The importance of Al-Sabiha lies in its people, its history of struggle, its geographical position, and its strategic dimension overlooking the international shipping lane and Bab al-Mandab," noting that "Sabiha, in its entire geographical extent, will remain an impenetrable fence that all conspiracies and ambitions targeting the south, its security and stability, will commit suicide."

The President of the Southern Transitional Council stressed the need to strengthen the unity of the ranks and societal cohesion at the level of the south and the Sabihah areas in particular, which are exposed to conspiracies aimed at weakening and losing their pioneering struggle role and their sovereign position on the most important global shipping lanes, pointing out that such a mission is crucial and inevitable, especially In the current stage that the south is going through.

He urged the dignitaries and notables of Al-Sabiha to play their role in confronting the phenomenon of revenge on Al-Sabiha and the whole of the south, calling for the need to work on finding a charter of honor that represents the complete societal consensus of the children of Al-Sabiha in confronting this phenomenon behind which external parties stand.

He concluded his speech by saying: "The issue of the heroic leader, Minister of Defense, Major General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi and his colleagues is our first issue and the cause of every southerner," stressing that the council's leadership will make all its efforts and the means it possesses to pressure their release.
