Taiz, Newsyemen:

The Islah Party, the branch of the terrorist Brotherhood organization, has stepped up its media and political campaign against the governor of Taiz, governorate agents, and non-party officials, despite their work as tools in the hands of the party since the beginning of the war.

The Brotherhood campaign began with the escalating popular anger over the growing corruption in the local authority offices and revenue institutions in the governorate.

The Brotherhood pushed dozens of its members to participate in a peaceful march that came out, Thursday morning, in the city of Taiz, in which the participants demanded the departure of the corruption mafia affiliated with the Islah party and controlling the governorate.

The Brotherhood, represented by the Islah Party, aims to divert the course of the demonstrations and dilute its demands for the departure of the Brotherhood's corruption mafia to demand the dismissal of Governor Nabil Shamsan and Agent Arif Jamal, who are considered among the tools of organization in the province.

Demonstrators denounced the Brotherhood’s attempts to dilute their goals and exploit the wave of popular anger by presenting them as scapegoats for the survival of the corruption mafia affiliated with them in the governorate’s administration from behind the guise of formal quotas between political parties.

The waves of popular anger began in Taiz after the Brotherhood's commercial companies raised the value of electricity services that feed the city in light of the deteriorating security situation and the accumulation of garbage in the middle of neighborhoods and streets.
