On social media, southerners celebrated, on Tuesday, the anniversary of the liberation of Al-Dhalea Governorate, from the Iranian militia.

In May 2015, the Southern Resistance Forces expelled the Houthi militia from Al-Dhalea governorate.

Hani Bin Buraik, Deputy Chairman of the Southern Transitional Council, described that victory over the Houthi militia as a day of dignity, pride and victory for the Arabs, led by Major General Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi.

Activist Mona stated that "the heroes of the Dhali fronts write every day the most wonderful heroic epics against the Houthi militia, without logistical support, salaries, food or attention from the Arab coalition."

Waddah bin Attiyah said, "The victory of Al-Dhali gave a strong moral impulse to the southern resistance, breaking the specter of fear and spreading terror and brokenness in the hearts of the Houthi militia. That is why Aden, Lahj and Abyan were liberated days after the liberation of Al-Dhalea."

Attiyah said that after the victory of Al-Dhalea ', Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah, and Mokha, Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar ascended, and Islah took control of the legitimacy, so the battle returned to the back and Al-Houthi advanced in Nahem, Al-Jawf and Ma'rib.
