Aden, NewsYemen:

The leader of the Southern Transitional Council, Ahmed Omar bin Farid, affirmed that the Yemeni occupation forces are seeking to turn the southern issue into an internal issue within the framework of the Republic of Yemen, calling on the people of the south to adhere to the essence of their cause of restoring the southern state with full independence and full sovereignty.

Ibn Farid said, in a tweet, that the essence of the "southern issue" should be adhered to as the issue of an independent Arab state that unified with another Arab state.

He continued, "Correctly understanding our issue is a major guarantee not to fall into the trap of misconceptions with which the occupation forces are trying to flatten our cause and transform it from the issue of an independent state to the level of an internal issue within the framework of the Republic of Yemen."

Ibn Farid wrote in another tweet, “Whoever wants to stab the people of southern Arabia in the back, he must do so in broad daylight so that our people clearly know who is with him and who is against him, and so that he can then determine his fateful options.”

He added, "It is correct, according to the Riyadh Agreement, that all northern forces leave the south and go to fight on the Ma'rib front, and at that time southern forces can support them as part of the coalition. As for the legitimate forces to remain on the oil wells in Shabwa and Hadramout, then southern forces are required to fight." In Marib instead, this is unacceptable. "

Meanwhile, the Saudi political analyst, Khaled Al-Zaatar, considered that the legitimacy suffers from a defect in its ranks and must be cleansed or the initiative to reform it.

Al-Zaatar said, "What is happening in Marib confirms that the legitimacy suffers from a political and military defect."

Al-Zaatar said, in his tweet on the social networking site "Twitter", "after the Yemeni legitimacy used to say (coming, Sanaa) today, it is defending Marib, its last stronghold in the north of Yemen.

He added, "This reflects the existence of a political and military defect in the Yemeni legitimacy, which it must take the initiative to reform and cleanse its ranks."
