Aden, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The capital, Aden, is witnessing several crises that have burdened the citizen, and this comes in light of the presence of the legitimate government, which the people of Aden held responsible for the deteriorating situation resulting from the failure to carry out its duties.

The absence of the two centers of Aden, the deterioration of the currency, the electricity crisis, and the high prices of foodstuffs, were the most important reasons that pushed the people of Aden out, today, Thursday, in the first days of the peaceful demonstrations approved by the citizens under the name of the "revolution of the hungry," which will last for days.

The collapse of the Yemeni riyal in front of foreign currencies, accompanied by many crises, in turn pushed vehicle owners to raise the prices of transport fares to double, as the journey, which was 100 riyals, rose to 200, while the 200 riyal journey became 300, which the owners of the vehicles "buses" attribute to the rise in Prices of oil derivatives.

The Deputy Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Fadl Al-Jaadi, said in a tweet, "The aggravation of the situation in the capital Aden and the liberated areas is something that only serves Iran and its offspring, and those tools that carry an agenda hostile to the coalition, the Riyadh agreement and the success of the government."

He added, "Non-payment of salaries, addressing the deterioration of the currency, improving services and people's livelihoods are gaps that must be filled before the situation worsens."

He said, in another tweet, “It is imperative to take urgent solutions that contribute to resolving the deteriorating conditions that have reached a point that the citizen cannot bear due to the tremendous rise in the prices of goods and foodstuffs, not to mention the deterioration of services. People must feel the positives of the Riyadh Agreement through the rise of the government economic situation and services. "

Citizen Hassan Iskandar, while receiving a pension of no more than 40,000 riyals, complained that the new transportation tariff will fully deplete his salary, as forty thousand riyals has become meaning nothing in front of the exorbitant price tag in everything, calling on the government to find real solutions to the deterioration in the country.
