Ibb, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, imposed financial levies and royalties by force of arms on citizens and merchants in Ibb Governorate, in central Yemen.

Local sources said that the Houthi militia imposed financial levies on shop owners in Yareem district, northeast of Ibb governorate, under the so-called "war effort."

Other informed sources reported that the Houthi leader “Abu Taha Jarfan” met with Aqal and notables from the Yarim District in Dar Al-Qur’an, which is occupied by the Houthi militia, and asked them to supplement their combat fronts with fighters, in light of the great human losses the militia is receiving on the fronts of the Marib governorate.

According to the sources, the notables confirmed during the meeting that many obstacles and difficulties stand before them, most notably the popular refusal to support their combat fronts, and that gold does not return but a dead body, or torn body parts.

On another issue, the director of the "Kitab" area department in Yareem district stormed the security department of Yarim district, northeast of Ibb governorate, after he learned that a citizen was following up the case of the killing of his brother, who was shot dead by the son of the director of the Kitab district department, and the citizen fled after the storming and search for him.
