Marib, NewsYemen:

A commander of the fighting fronts in Marib governorate launched an initiative regarding the joining of what he described as "patriotic and Arab forces" wishing to fight the Houthi militia and confront its barbaric attacks on Marib.

The Commander of the Al-Alam Front, Sheikh Nasser bin Ali bin Ushan, announced in a statement issued on Monday that he welcomed all the national and Arab forces wishing to join this front from various forces and currents "to confront the advance of Houthi, his barbaric attacks and his desperate attempts to occupy the governorate of Ma'rib."

He explained that launching this initiative is not from a position of weakness and defeat, but from a position of strength, adding: "But we know with certainty that our brothers in arms from the national and Arab forces are eager to join the battle to fight alongside us, so we would love to announce this initiative to unite the ranks."

Al-alam Front is located in the northeastern outskirts of the Marib governorate towards Al-Jawf governorate, and it witnesses fierce battles following the attacks launched by the Houthi militia on the army positions and the Ubaida tribes.

Oshan (who is one of the sheikhs of the Ubaida tribe) indicated that there are no preconditions for these forces to join the battle, except for their belief that the Houthi militia must fight.

The Commander of the Al-Alam Front asserted that the battle requires unifying the ranks of all political and sectarian forces under the banner of defending religion, protecting the homeland and restoring the republic from the hands of this malicious enemy.
