Ibb, NewsYemen:

Five children were injured, after being bitten by rabid dogs, in Ibb Governorate, central Yemen.

Local residents said that five children were bitten by rabid dogs in the city of Jableh during the past two days, in the absence of any role for the authorities of the Houthi militia, to combat the spread of rabid dogs in the streets of the provincial capital and its secondary cities.

Medical sources talked about the high rates of infection with dog bites in the various directorates of the governorate, especially the districts of Al-Dhahar and Al-Mishna, the governorate center, and in conjunction with the lack of vaccines for rabies vaccine, and it was sold in private pharmacies at high and great prices.
