The Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Saghir bin Aziz, said that Hassan Erlo, Iran's ambassador to the Houthi militia, is the Iranian official who leads the Houthi battles.

Lieutenant General "Ibn Aziz" said, in statements to the "Yemen" satellite channel, that the Yemeni people "are on a date with victory, and the final elimination of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia in this battle," noting that "the true leader of the Houthi battle is called Hassan." Erlo, Iran's ambassador to the Houthi militia, or the so-called Iranian military ruler in Sanaa.

Lieutenant General "Ibn Aziz" pointed out that "the battle of the Yemenis today is not a battle of a group of people, a party, a group or a region; rather, it is a battle of all Yemenis against the Iranian terrorist Houthi movement that wants to remove the Yemenis from their Yemeni Arab identity," stressing that the Houthis "are not They are nothing but a tool to implement Iran's destructive project in Yemen and the Arab world. "

The Army Chief of Staff called on “the Yemeni tribes that have realized the reality of Al Houthi to stand together to participate in achieving victory,” reiterating that “Yemen is not concerned about the Houthi gang, as the army is on the lookout for them and will achieve victory.”

Ibn Aziz pointed out that the army "succeeded in removing the Houthi mice from their hideouts into an open battle to eliminate them."

He addressed the speech to the tribes in Houthi-controlled areas, saying, "To our people in the Houthi-controlled areas, do not participate in destroying Yemen and fighting your Yemeni brothers for the Houthi, who wants you to be his slaves and to serve the Iranian project."

Last October, Tehran appointed Hassan Erlo as its ambassador to the Houthi militia government in Sanaa, who is an officer specializing in anti-aircraft weapons training and who is considered a religious guide in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

Since the appointment of "Earlo", the Houthi attacks have escalated in an unprecedented manner against cities and facilities in Yemen and Saudi Arabia, which raises the ceiling of threats to the Kingdom and the neighboring countries.

Former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo considered that the appointment of Hassan Erlo as Iran's ambassador to Yemen "indicates Tehran's intention to increase support for the Houthis and complicate efforts to settle the Yemeni conflict."
