Mokha, NewsYemen, Special Dialogue:

About forty fighters were preparing to catch up with the national resistance on Friday morning, as an option that charts new features to fight the Houthi militia, all of whom are in their twenties, and have fervent enthusiasm in fighting the militias, the same enthusiasm that enabled them to fight three rounds of fighting against the militia affiliated with Iran. The youth of the Hima Taiz Intifada, who preferred not to surrender in fighting the terrorist gang, to start it again from the gate of the resistance.

A News Yemen correspondent in Mokha met with the leader of their last battle, Moufid Al-Harbi, and held this dialogue with him.

* Tell us about how you dealt with the Houthi militia?

Faced with the difference of power between us and the Houthi militia, we had to change the nature of direct confrontation to the use of the tactic of ambushes. We were hiding in specific places and we knew that the militia crews would pass through them, so we lay in them and carry out the attack. That you own in exchange for the automatic weapons we have.

In fact, previous battles have given us field experience in fighting the Houthi militia, which depend in its fight on the use of the massive mobilization of fighters, weapons and massive fire cover, in order to inflict a psychological defeat on its opponents.

* The most difficult moments of the battle?

The most difficult moment is for militia hordes to fight with personal weapons and from open places, especially since our homes are known and the militias were targeting them despite the presence of women and children inside them. Imagine that we all do not have a Czechy weapon or thermal missiles, and if we had such weapons, the nature of the battle would have changed, In addition, all supply lines are cut off, in addition to the absence of any party that adopted our support, but the best battles to fight with the militias was the battle of the valley, as it allowed us to maneuver and inflict losses on their ranks.

* What is the reason for the repeated battles in the neighborhood of Taiz?

I would like to say that the regions and villages of al-Hima reject the Houthi project, and they were among the areas in support of the leader Ali Abdullah Saleh, and when he announced the December uprising we answered the call and went out with him and took control of the area, and from that time the Houthi militia began to be hostile to us, and to practice the kinds of extortion and oppression on us. Imagine that a citizen was He works in buying qat from farmers to sell it in the market. The supervisor “Abu Maarak” came and took part of the farm, and when he objected to taking another part, and whenever he objected to the reason, he used another portion to take, and in the end the citizen had nothing but silence, because he did There is nothing left for him from the experiment that he bought, except for something simple. This is a simple example of what the Houthi militia does, as it imposes financial taxes and takes people's money unlawfully, and whoever dares to intercept it faces imprisonment and possibly murder, and people have reached a stage that they are no longer able to bear that blackmail .

Q: What is the story of the child Suhaib, and why did the militias announce a prize for those who guide him?

The story of my son Suhaib is that the militias wanted to take him hostage, and when I failed, they announced a reward for whoever would bring it about ten million riyals. The Houthi militia wanted to subjugate me through my son, but praise be to God, he survived and all of us survived. It is true that it took dozens of citizens as hostages in exchange for being silent and not talking about its crimes.

* How did you get out and how did the child Souhaib leave, despite the fact that the militias cordoned off the shelter from all sides?

I do not hide from you a secret that we were a group of young men ranging from thirty to forty fighters with personal weapons compared to dozens of soldiers and armed with heavy weapons, and in front of this crowd it was difficult for us to continue the confrontation, and we preferred to withdraw, especially since there is no party that announced its support for us. And our continuation of the fighting and without support was completely difficult, and if we had possessed specific weapons, the situation would have changed completely now.

As for how we got out, we took roads, some of which were near militia armored vehicles, and we individually infiltrated and bypassed the Houthi points and their locations, and some of us crossed alongside the Houthi crews completely, and what helped us in that is the nature of the area.

As for my son, he was smuggled through his mother from one village to another, until they got out of al-Hima, and then they drove off in a passenger car from one of the areas and passed the Houthi checkpoints until they reached the city, and his mother made a great effort in order not to harm our son and she succeeded in that It is a behavior that you are thankful for.

* How many martyrs in the last battle?

Seven civilians were killed, while the number of wounded reached 8, four of them were captured after they were wounded.

* Does the Houthi have a popular incubator in Al-Hamiyah?

There is no popular incitement for al-Houthi at all, even the Friday sermon incites the militias openly.

* How is the estimated number of militia killed in the third war?

The militias recognized 18 dead, but what is certain is according to the numbers collected from the battlefields, up to 40 dead, unlike the wounded, because we used to attack militia members while they were on crews using ambushes, and this inflicted casualties on them.
