Aden, NewsYemen:

Political analyst Muhammad Jawas said that the indications of what happened and is happening on the fronts of Ma'rib appeared clearly two years ago, but the leadership of the coalition did not deal with it.

"The causes and backgrounds of what happened and is happening in Marib were and still require the Kingdom to necessarily change its strategy (with new policies and bets) towards the Yemeni government and towards the National Army in particular," Jawas said in a post on his Facebook account.

"Indicators of what happened and is happening in Marib had appeared nearly two years ago, and they were strong and clear indications, but they were ignored and no real solutions were taken towards them," he said.

He said that the Kingdom at the time was satisfied with changing the commander of the coalition forces with another commander, but it is clear that it was changing people without changing the existing military strategy.

"If the Kingdom does not take immediate measures within a new strategy, the signs of the fall of Marib will remain greater than those of its steadfastness," Jawas stressed.
