Buhaibeh: Great tribal cohesion is the secret of Marib's steadfastness in the face of the Houthis

Political analyst Abd al-Wahhab Buhaibah confirmed, on Sunday, that the people of Ma'rib have put the governorate's interest above political and tribal affiliation, which is the reason for their steadfastness against the Houthis.
In a press statement, Bahibeh said, "The people of Marib put aside all differences and problems, and unified themselves in order to defend the republic and its goals."
He explained that, historically, Marib is a governorate that "rejects and resists Imamate rule, and it is always difficult for it to coexist with this form of regimes."
Buhaibeh concluded by saying: "I see what is happening today as a natural extension of its history in fighting the rule of the imams who dominated the country before the republic."
