Sanaa, NewsYemen Special:

The Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - claimed that its coup against the legitimacy and its plundering of state institutions by force of arms on September 21, 2014 AD, but came to correct the course of what it described, the February 11, 2011 revolution, in reference to the protests of the youth of the Joint Meeting Parties and the wave of what is known as the Spring Arab 10 years ago.

In a blatant falsification of the awareness of young people and school students in Sanaa and its neighboring governorates, the Houthi militia’s curriculum for the fourth grade social education subject is essential, claiming that the September 21 coup is a “corrective popular revolution following the failure of the February 11, 2011 revolution”.

As Iran exercises a public guardianship over Sanaa, and its governor and military governor, Hassan Erlo, controls the details of domestic and foreign affairs, the Houthi militia’s approaches claimed that one of the goals of their revolution was “complete independence of Yemen and get rid of dependency and guardianship abroad.”
