The Saudi political analyst, Khaled Al-Zaatar, considered that the arrest of the leader of Al-Qaeda, Khaled Batarfi, in Al-Mahra exposed the secret of the Brotherhood's campaigns against the Arab coalition.
Al-Zaatar said in a tweet to him on the social networking site "Twitter", that the Brotherhood's media campaigns demonizing the role of the Arab coalition were serving the presence of Al-Qaeda leader Batarfi, who was arrested in the capital of Al-Mahra province last October.
Al-Zaatar wrote: "Why were the Brotherhood militias active in distorting the efforts of the Emirates and Saudi Arabia to achieve stability in Al-Mahra governorate?"
He continued, "The answer to this is revealed by the presence of the leader of Al-Qaeda in Yemen, Khaled Batarfi, in Al-Mahra governorate, which reflects the deepening of the relationship between the Brotherhood and Al-Qaeda."
Al-Zaatar indicated that the efforts of Saudi Arabia and the UAE in support of stability and development in Al-Mahra Governorate were an obstacle to the growing presence of Al-Qaeda in this governorate, especially since this organization was trying to be active in the governorate, which is confirmed by the arrest of Al-Qaeda leader in Yemen Khaled.
