On Sunday, the death toll from an explosion and fire that occurred at a gas filling station in the city of Al-Bayda increased.
Medical sources in the city said that the death toll from the explosion that occurred at Al-Rahbi station has risen to 15, while more than 20 people are still critically injured in intensive care rooms in a number of hospitals in Al-Bayda and the capital, Sana'a.
It's expected that the number of deaths to increase, given the seriousness of the condition of a large number of injured, referring to the bodies that were not recognized, due to the disappearance of their features due to exposure to fire, while injured persons were amputated by the explosions.
In addition, local sources indicated that two explosions shook the station, on Saturday afternoon, and were accompanied by a massive fire that spread to the vicinity of the station and the main road, which doubled the number of victims and exacerbated the damage to vehicles, shops and homes adjacent to the station.
