The Saudi newspaper Okadh said that the Yemeni political components have become convinced that any delay in implementing the Riyadh Agreement that was signed between the legitimate government and the Southern Transitional Council will give the opportunity for the Houthi militias and the Iranian regime to benefit from it in perpetuating hostility and playing on the strings of differences and bringing the south into an armed conflict will exacerbate The difficult conditions experienced by the Yemeni people.
The newspaper considered that the agreement and its acceleration mechanism succeeded in containing all the differences between the Yemeni parties and components, including security, military and political clauses and implementation guarantees, centered on the Yemeni national partnership in the battle to restore the state and achieve security and stability.
According to the newspaper, "the new government is the government of all Yemenis, and it represents a single political contract that guarantees the equitable participation of all united parties within the front to confront the Iranian project in Yemen, and is not exclusive to a party or group."
It noted that the solution to the dispute did not and will not be through the use of force, as it does not serve the interest of the Yemeni people, and does not fulfill the hopes of the people of Yemen who aspire to restore security and stability, after years of conflicts and difficult living conditions.
It stressed that it is necessary for the international community to move to support the implementation of the mechanism to accelerate the implementation of the "Riyadh Agreement", in addition to strengthening the efforts of the UN envoy to Yemen.
The newspaper stated that the first stage of implementing the Riyadh Agreement Acceleration Mechanism witnesses the departure of (non-security) military forces with their heavy and medium weapons from Aden, the separation of the forces of both sides in Abyan, and the movement of these forces with accompanying units of the coalition forces to various fronts.
Okadh pointed out that "the aim of the security forces remaining in the capital, Aden, is to ensure that security is not disturbed in the interim capital, and to confront the activities of Al Qaeda."
