Activists carried out a protest stand in front of the Al-Ahly club headquarters in Taiz, which was hit by a mortar shell fired by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm.

The organization of the stand was an expression of condemnation and condemnation of the crime that claimed the life of Captain Nasser Al-Raimi, a former player of Talaia Taiz club, and his son, while they were in Al-Ahly club yard and injured two brothers.

The protesters explained that the bombing in this systematic way is a war crime and is a flagrant violation of the rules of international humanitarian law.


It was an artillery shell of the type of Hauser launched by the Houthi militia yesterday at the Al-Ahly stadium in the fourth neighborhood, which is a densely populated neighborhood that contains facilities, schools, and government and private interests in the city of Taiz.

In the context, a team from the National Committee to investigate allegations of human rights violations visited the headquarters of the Al-Ahly Club in the city of Taiz to inspect the fall of the projectile launched by the Houthi militia on the club's field stadium.

Committee member Ishraq Al-Maqtari explained that the team inspected the location of the projectile landing at the club's field stadium and received the remnants of the projectile and examined them, noting that the Houthi bombing of the stadium preceded the arrival of about thirty players to complete their training there.

 According to a recent statement issued by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen, the Houthi bombing of residential neighborhoods in Taiz claimed the lives of one hundred and ten civilians during the months of October and November.

Activists and protesters formed a human chain in the city of Taiz, demanding that the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm, be classified as a terrorist organization.

The series organized by the "Yemen Without Houthi Terrorism" initiative on the stadium of Al-Shaab School in Al-Houd neighborhood, east of the governorate, in which more than a thousand citizens participated in the category of students, educators, athletes, and members of youth initiatives.

The participants in the event demanded that the Houthis be classified as a terrorist group and addressed the international community to stop Al-Houthi terrorism, its crimes and its threat to local and global peace and security.

It is noteworthy that dozens of stops were organized in a number of governorates demanding the classification of the Houthi militia as a terrorist organization, and stressed that this is the only way to stop terrorist threats and protect regional and international peace and security.
