Al-Osoumi confirms the Arab Parliament's support for Yemen in the face of foreign interference

The President of the Arab Parliament, Adel Al-Osoumi, confirmed, on Saturday, the parliament's support for Yemen and its stability in the face of foreign interference.
This came during the second session of the first session of the third legislative term, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo.
Al-Osoumi pointed to the beginning of a new phase of Arab action, eight years after the establishment of Parliament.
He pointed out that they are working on developing a new business strategy to develop and activate the role of the Arab Parliament, the most important of which is the launch of the Center for Arab Parliamentary Diplomacy.
The President of the Arab Parliament clarified that the Arab Parliament hopes that the Center for Arab Parliamentary Diplomacy will carry out its tasks at all levels. On the research level, it will undertake the task of preparing studies, research, opinion polls and performance measurement that contribute to the development of Arab societies in all fields.
In terms of training, the center will organize specialized training courses, workshops and discussion sessions for Arab parliamentarians and employees of the general secretariats of Arab and regional parliaments and councils and various media outlets and it will also play its role in educating the Arab citizen.
On the academic level, the center will launch a number of academic programs at the level of applied diploma, including the diploma in Arab parliamentary diplomacy through theoretical and applied study programs in cooperation with prestigious universities in the same field.
The President of the Arab Parliament indicated that the center will sign a number of cooperation protocols with Arab, regional and international parliaments and councils, diplomatic institutes, universities, research centers and specialized opinion polls to achieve these goals.
