A source in the Mocha Communications Branch told NewsYemen that the communications network and internet service went out of service on Friday evening Because of a new technical defect, he indicated that engineers are working to identify and fix the defect.
Communications and the Internet have repeatedly left coverage and service in Mocha, which directly affects the work of many utilities, the private sector, and money changers, in addition to disrupting subscribers' access to the network.
The Houthi militia controls the communications and Internet sector throughout Yemen.
At the end of last month, communications and internet service were disrupted in Mocha day and night due to what was said to be a defect in an area near the Mocha Junction and Jabal Al Nar.
