The UAE continues to support the stability of "Socotra" and serve its citizens in education and health

Education: 

On December 9, the Socotra Center for Training and Consulting of the Khalifa Foundation attracted new teachers for its teaching staff, and the director of the center, Hanadi Khalil, explained that since the middle of last month, the center has added 2 teachers from Britain and Europe, adding that since the middle of last November, new English language courses have been started.

The Socotra Community College in Socotra Archipelago has launched two training sessions in English language and computers for students and college employees with the support of the Khalifa Foundation. 

The two courses, which last for three months, aim to qualify 48 students and the college’s career staff in the English language and how to deal with computers and raise their efficiency in both fields.

On December 6, Ataya School organized an exploratory trip for its students as part of the extra-curricular activities of the Dimri Marine Reserve, which represents a natural museum with the diversity and plurality of marine life in it.


Service projects


Convoys carrying household gas for the people of the West Coast took place in the areas of Salmho, Sandafa, on December 8, Wednesday.

And they deployed inspection teams for all the artesian wells that were dug and provided them with pumps and solar energies in the rural areas of Socotra.

Health:

 The fog spraying campaigns for stagnant water valleys to eliminate flying insects, especially mosquitoes that transmit diseases, was launched on December 2, in two stages, in which gyroa flying is used as amputation of valleys, field teams and means of transport between residential neighborhoods.

 The people of Socotra praised the prosperity of life and stability that prevailed in the archipelago, and thanked the efforts of the UAE, as the island won its share of providing services in the governorates of the Republic.
