Hadhramaut .. 75 tons of Emirati aid for the relief of the Al-Salam neighborhood

On Monday, the Emirates Red Crescent Authority provided more than 1,700 food baskets to the people of Al-Salam neighborhood in Mukalla, the capital of Hadramout Governorate.
The distribution process comes within the unlimited support of the United Arab Emirates, to alleviate the suffering of families in Al-Salam neighborhood, as in the last third of last month, 1774 food baskets weighing 75 tons and 927.2 kilograms were distributed, of which 8,870 individuals benefited from the region.
The Director General of Al-Mukalla Directorate, Hussein Hashem Al-Hamid, praised the tangible efforts made by the UAE and its humanitarian arm, the Red Crescent Authority, in order to help the needy families in the Directorate in development and relief, to alleviate their living suffering.
He indicated that this aid has a positive impact on the hearts of many families, especially those with limited income, expressing his pleasure to help hundreds of families in need for such a humanitarian gesture.
Al-Hamid affirmed the local authority’s keenness to provide all means of cooperation and facilitate the work of the Emirates Red Crescent team to ensure that humanitarian aid reaches the citizens who are deserving of it, to alleviate their suffering.
The Emirates Red Crescent Authority has intensified the delivery of relief aid aimed at helping affected families and people with limited income in Hadramout Governorate to face the difficult humanitarian and economic conditions the country is going through.
