Aden, NewsYemen:

The governor of the capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, affirmed his full support for the teachers ’legitimate demands to settle and improve their employment conditions, indicating that he is continuing his efforts to obtain educators’ full rights.

This came during his meeting, on Sunday, with the leadership of the Southern Teachers Syndicate, in the presence of the Secretary General of the Local Council in Aden Governorate, an assistant Badr.

During the meeting, the governor reviewed the steps for following up on teachers ’entitlements with the relevant authorities in the government, indicating that matters are on the right track.

He affirmed that he would continue to follow up on the implementation of his obligations to educators, and that his efforts did not and will not stop until teachers in Aden obtain their full legitimate rights.

He pointed out that he is currently studying a number of options aimed at helping teachers and relieving them of some of the burdens of daily life.

The governor of the capital appreciated the keenness of the teachers of Aden on the future of students and the conduct of the educational process in light of the difficult living conditions resulting from many reasons, most notably the deterioration of the local currency against foreign currencies, stressing that this is a national stance that is considered for that leading community group.

Meanwhile, a number of the union leadership talked about the problems that the education sector faces, which reflected themselves on the teacher himself, as well as the suffering he suffers due to the outrageous price tag in all the requirements of daily life.

They renewed their appreciation to the governor of the capital for his responsible stance on their side and their great confidence in him and in his efforts to solve their problem, calling on the government to assume its responsibilities towards them, appreciate their suffering and release all their dues.
