Mocha, NewsYemen:

The engineering teams of the joint forces dismantled a network of mines in the Najiba area of the coastal district of Mocha, which was planted by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, before it was expelled from the area.

A military source said that the engineering team of the 11th Giants Brigade dismantled a network of anti-armor mines from the remnants of the Houthi militia in a sandy road in the Alaya area, south of Najiba.

The source explained that the engineering team conducted a comprehensive field survey of the area after securing it, and was able to remove and neutralize seven anti-armor mines, according to what was reported by the Media Center of the Giants Brigades.

It is noteworthy that the mines and devices planted by the Houthi militia have killed and injured hundreds of civilians on the western coast.

Last week, a Houthi mine explosion killed seven civilians, and 12 others were injured south of Hodeidah.

The engineering teams of the joint forces continue to survey and clear the liberated areas on the western coast, from minefields, explosive devices and explosive shells left by Iran's arm before it was defeated.
