The units of the First Thunderbolt Brigade in the front of the Hajar Combat Axis thwarted an infiltration and attack attempt that had been carried out by the Houthi elements towards the Free Martyr Marawan al-Ashwali site - south of the town of Habeel Yahya, northwest of al-Dhale.
The field commander of the Al-Hurra sector, loans in the First Thunderbolt Brigade Lieutenant Colonel Nazem Al-Abl, the Houthi militia tried to carry out an offensive operation after sunset on Friday, and reinforced it with intense fire cover with medium and some heavy weapons, amid an attempt by a number of Houthi elements to carry out an infiltration operation towards the Al-Shaheed Al-Ashwi and Al-Hura sites, but they failed in this and were quickly deterred and confronted, forcing them to retreat towards their positions in Habeel Ubaid and the town of Habeel Yahya after receiving painful blows.
Al-Abl added that the reconnaissance unit of the forces of the First Thunderbolt had monitored the militia’s movement early on, with reinforcements being brought in to the town of Habeel Yahya, and their movements and readiness to attack them were followed up by targeting their locations on the front lines and the confrontations continued in an intense manner for about an hour, after which they continued intermittently for hours.
