Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi, President of the Arab Parliament, condemned the hideous bloody massacre committed by the Houthi militia, Thursday evening, for targeting a commercial complex south of Hodeidah with a number of mortar shells, which resulted in the killing of a number of the compound's workers and wounding others.
Al-Asoumi confirmed - in a statement today - that the Houthi militia’s perpetration of this terrorist crime only three days after it committed another bloody massacre in the Al-Durahimi district in Al-Hodeidah governorate, which led to the killing and wounding of dozens of innocent civilians, most of them women and children, that reflects its blatant defiance and extreme disregard for all. Humanitarian norms and principles and international laws.
The President of the Arab Parliament called on the international community and the Security Council to take immediate measures to protect the innocent civilians of the Yemeni people, and to put an end to the humanitarian violations of the Houthi militia and its permanent targeting of civilians and its continuous violations of the ceasefire in Hodeidah governorate under the Stockholm Agreement, which reflects its determination to undermine efforts. It confirms that it will continue to implement the Iranian regime's subversive agenda, which aims to spread violence, destruction and chaos in the Arab region.
