A leader of the Brotherhood militia was killed in battles with southern forces in Abyan governorate after his participation in the Thursday dawn attack.
Military sources told NewsYemen that Commander Anis Al-Shajri, commander of a company in the Third Presidential Protection Brigade, was killed during the Thursday battles in the Al-Turiya front, along with a number of his companions.
The southern forces had previously announced the killing of ten members of the Brotherhood militia and the destruction of four crews and dozens of wounded.
According to the southern forces, battles broke out in Wadi Sale and al-Tiriya, and through defensive tactics they inflicted heavy losses on the Muslim Brotherhood’s militia.
They explained in a press statement that she had adopted the solicitation to disguise the attack by the Muslim Brotherhood militia at the front line, which played a decisive role in crushing its recent attack in Abyan.
