Marib, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

Murad tribes have warned the authorities in Marib against any complicity that the governorate would hand over to the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, saying that the authorities, which earn millions of riyals per day, prevent funding of the fighting tribes, refuse to pay the financial rights of tribal fighters, and use the money to serve a political party agenda.

According to private tribal sources who spoke to NewsYemen, the leadership of the Brotherhood’s army called the "National Army" is practicing a policy of detaching Murad tribesmen involved in the fighting against the Houthi militia, and procrastinating in granting them their rights under the pretext of scarcity of capabilities.

The sources said that these practices against tribal fighters serve Iran’s arm, at a time when the authorities are earning millions of riyals per day.

They said: If these funds and the province’s wealth are not used for their protection, then this means that there is clear and exposed complicity to hand over the province.

On the other hand, the source said that the Murad tribes put the legitimate government between two options in managing the fight against the Houthi militia in southern Marib.

The tribes suggested to the government that the army take over the Murad front in the Juba and al-Jabal, or that the tribes take over that task, indicating its refusal to fight alongside the army.
