The United Nations: 233,000 victims of the ongoing conflict in Yemen

The United Nations High Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs announced that 233,000 people have been killed during the conflict in Yemen over the course of 5 years.
The organization’s office said in a statement: "The conflict in Yemen has so far claimed 233,000 lives ... and this large number is unacceptable."
The UN office indicated that Yemen has reached a turning point and is in need of a ceasefire.
