The Brotherhood is taking revenge for al-Qaeda, "from Major General Salem Qatan

The Brotherhood authorities, which control Shabwa, changed the name of the martyr Street, Major General Salem Qatan, Commander of the Southern Military Region, in the city of Ataq, the capital of the governorate, to (60th Street).

The family of Major General Salem Qatan confirmed that the Public Works Office in Shabwa canceled the name of the martyr that was given to a street in Ataq, the capital of the governorate.

The family said, in a statement, that the Public Works Office has canceled the name of the martyr Qatan, who was killed in 2012 in a treacherous terrorist operation in Aden, from the street extending from the Al-Jalfouz point east of Ataq to the Baswaid point west of the city.

They indicated that the Muslim Brotherhood authorities announced the change of the street's name to (60th Street).

The martyr's family expressed their displeasure with this behavior, which detracts from the consideration of the martyr, his sacrifices and the sincerity of his struggle.

The family called for the cancellation of any new name and the preservation of the first one, out of respect for the martyr Major General Salem Qatan.
