The exacerbation of the internal conflict of the power centers of Iran's arm in Sana'a prompted its leader, Abdulmalik al-Houthi, to intervene and hold an emergency meeting of the members of the alleged Governing Council in the capital and the ministers of the unrecognized government in an attempt to stop the sharp conflict between the coup factions over the looted money and power.
The Houthi militia-affiliated Sheba Agency reported that the leader of the group held a rare virtual meeting on video television, with the president and members of his government today, Friday, while holding a series of workshops to implement the government's plan for 2021.
The meeting included a member of the so-called Supreme Political Council, Muhammad al-Nuaimi, the two deputies of the so-called Parliament Speaker Abd al-Salam Hashal, Abdul-Rahman al-Jamai, the director of the al-Mashat office, Ahmed Hamed, and the director of the office of the leader of the Iranian arm, Safar al-Sufi.
In addition, all members of the coup government were ministers, deputy ministers, heads of institutions and bodies in the presidency, government and oversight agencies, according to the militia's media.
The leader of Iran’s arm called on his followers to do their duty in a conversation that carried a veiled threat, indicating that responsibility in this circumstance is based on giving, sacrifice and sacrifice, and not "a position for taking and achieving personal gain."
The militia leader stressed "the importance of coordination between all agencies and playing a role to face the challenges," indicating a major conflict between Iran's security arm, affiliated to power centers, with signs of a conflict of influence emerging.
The power centers of Iran's arm have been exchanging allegations of corruption publicly in propaganda campaigns of defamation and exclusion, and they rose dramatically with the arrival of the Quds Force delegate to Sanaa, Hassan Erlo, last October, as part of Iran's preparations to expand diplomatic communication channels for its arm in Sana'a.
Irloo contributed to directing the Saada wing to consolidate its control over the government of Sana'a at the expense of the capital wing, which was stripped of its powers in ministries, governorates, and government positions, within the framework of Iranian influence to remove the leaders and Hashemite families that were historically linked to Saudi Arabia.
