The Supreme Committee for the Southern Military and Security Sit-in confirmed that it is awaiting the implementation of the legitimate government of its agreement with the protesters regarding the organization of salaries and payment of dues.
In explaining to NewsYemen, the leadership of the committee praised the efforts of the governor of the capital, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, and his implementation of his promise to spend another salary from the capital's revenues, expressing its hope that the terms of the agreement with the government will be implemented, as stated in its clauses.
The committee said that it had agreed with the government, under the supervision of the governor, that a salary would be disbursed from the central bank and another would be disbursed by the governor from the governorate’s revenues, and then the exchange would be regulated so that two months would be spent every month until the late months were completed, and we are still waiting for the coming months to be organized.
The committee indicated that the government and the governor responded, and a salary was paid from the government and another from the governor, calling for the speedy formation of the government, resolving disputes, and dispensing the people's rights.
