Emirati aid normalizes life from Hadhramaut to Hodeidah

Within half a month, Emirati aid convoys were able to rescue about twenty-seven thousand people from the eastern and western regions of Yemen.
The United Arab Emirates, through its humanitarian arm, the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, continues to operate relief aid convoys in the governorates of Shabwa and Hadhramaut and the western coastal strip regions in the governorates of Taiz and Hodeidah.
The total of what was distributed during the first half of the current month of November reached 218 tons, benefiting about 26,925 people.
In details, the Crescent teams in Hadhramaut governorate distributed 3,635 food baskets weighing 154 tons of basic materials, including the areas of central Mukalla, Ghayl Bin Yameen and the villages of Doan.
In these areas, more than 18,175 citizens benefited from needy and affected families in Hadhramaut Governorate.
As for the western coast, the Crescent teams distributed during the first half of this month 1270 food baskets weighing 64 tons from the displaced persons of Al-Durhaimi, Al-Alili and Al-Hawash in Al-Hodeidah governorate and remote areas in Mawza'a district, as well as volunteer teachers in Dhu Bab district, west of Taiz.
The people of the targeted areas expressed their love and appreciation for the UAE, which carried the slogan of humanity and embodied it in word and deed on the land of Yemen, praising the role of the prominent Humanitarian Red Crescent Authority and its continuous efforts in delivering aid to their areas to relieve the suffering from their shoulders and help them on the burdens of difficult living life.
In the year 2020, the UAE adopted a deliberate humanitarian plan to alleviate the suffering of the people of the governorates of Hadhramaut and Shabwa in eastern Yemen and the governorates of Taiz and Hodeidah in western Yemen.
Aid continues to flow under the directives of the leadership in the UAE, which has made its primary concern to strive for the achievement of the lofty message in the world, for which the Red Crescent Authority was established to provide decent livelihoods for those in need, especially those who have been subjected to wars and environmental and natural disasters.
