A member of the General Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, Waddah bin Attia, said that Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar, Vice President, and Interior Minister Ahmed al-Maisari are behind obstructing the formation of the new government.
In his tweet on Twitter, Ibn Attiyah stated that Al-Ahmar and Al-Maisari were the ones who impeded the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement and failed it, leaving nothing but burial, even if Hadi announced the government within the next two days.
Ibn Attiyah added, "For any government they will announce with good intentions has preceded Ahmad Mortar (Al-Maisari) and Ali Katyusha (Ali Mohsen) with blood to the knees," as he put it.
The Deputy Head of the Media Department of the Transitional Council, Mansour Saleh, had confirmed a few days ago that all the parties had fulfilled their obligations and submitted their candidates, leaving nothing but Hadi’s announcement about them.
