Mocha, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The Tourism and Local Authority Office, in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent, launched, on Wednesday, a comprehensive cleaning campaign for the coast and Corniche of Mocha.

The Director of the Tourism Office, Dr. Jalal Mansour, said that the campaign aims to remove all the piles of garbage and waste that go to the beach from the Corniche coast to the fish landing center.

He added that the two-day campaign will transport fishing boats to their designated places so that the Corniche remains an outlet for Mocha residents.

Mansour expressed his thanks for the cooperation of the Crescent in organizing the campaign, which aims to clean the coast and make it a decent place to receive its visitors.

In addition, the Social Fund for Development started a similar cleaning campaign within the cash-for-work program.

The fund’s supervisor, Abdulsalam Al Sharafi, said that 150 workers are participating in the campaign, and all of them are from displaced families in Mocha.

He added that the cash-for-work project aims to improve the conditions of the displaced in their areas of displacement by absorbing them in the projects implemented by the Fund.
