The Minister of Information in the caretaker government, Muammar Al-Eryani, condemned the new wave of death sentences issued by a court subject to the Houthi militia last Saturday against 21 people loyal to legitimacy and opponents of the coup and promised that these rulings come in the context of "settling political scores."

Al-Eryani, one of those included in these coup rulings, said, “The execution orders issued by the Houthi militia under the cover of the kidnapped judicial bodies in their areas of control against the leaders of the state and the army and political and social figures opposing the Iranian expansionist project reveal their true intentions towards peace and their efforts to settle their political accounts and legitimize their plunder of private property.”

In official statements, the minister added, “The political and military escalation practiced by the Houthi militia since the arrival of the Quds Force officer named Hassan Erlo to Sanaa is an extension of the Iranian regime’s approach to dealing with its opponents, and its pernicious role in fueling conflict and undermining the efforts made by the United Nations to resolve the Yemeni crisis. In a peaceful way, under the absolute silence of the international community. ”

Al-Eryani described these death orders as "a badge of honor on his chest and all of his colleagues, and it will not upset their convictions, undermine their firm and established positions, or discourage them from performing their national duty in the historical battle and confronting the Iranian project and its tool from the terrorist Houthi militia."

The Criminal Court, which is under the control of the Houthis in Sanaa, issued a wave of decisions to execute 21 people who are considered legitimate, according to what was broadcast by the group's media.

The illegal Houthi court also decided to confiscate all real estate and movable property of those sentenced to death and transfer it to the militia treasury.
