Brotherhood authority in Shabwa threatens to arrest a journalist

The Shabwa authority, affiliated with the Brotherhood, has threatened to arrest an independent journalist from the province, for his views.

Journalist Saleh Haqrous said that he had received arrest threats from the Brotherhood’s authority that controls Shabwa governorate, indicating that he has been staying inside his home for nearly a month.

In a communiqué on his Facebook account, he held Ahmed Mohsen al-Sharif, the head of the Islah party in Shabwa, the governor of the governorate, Muhammad Saleh bin Adiou, and the commander of the Special Forces, Abed Rabbo Laakab, responsible for what might befall him.

Journalist Haqrous indicated that he cannot enter Ataq, the provincial capital, due to his fear of being arrested.
